Diatomaceous Earth, also called  Diatomite, is a superior granular absorbent. It represents the accumulation of thousands of fossil diatoms. Diatomaceous Earth has been called a miraculous mineral because of its lightness and  porosity which allows it to absorb nearly its own weight in oil or water, with limited risk of leakage or drainage.

Diatomaceous Earth is an all-purpose absorbent that can be used on all types of  floor spills including oil-based liquids, chemicals, water and grease.
